February ushers in the end of one era and the beginning of a new one. Along with a powerful eclipse, it also sees ruler Mercury retrograde in Pisces and your 10^th house. Uncertainty will be replaced by clarity, certainty and determination, Gemini. You are not driven by an outside force or ‘destiny’. You are crafting your own.

Top of the month and the Leo full Moon in your 3^rd (1^st) with its trine to Ceres in your 11^th, turns ideas and thoughts into actions and discussions. Something you have been thinking about clarifies or reaches the point where you are ready to talk about it. Or even share or launch. This is perfect timing ahead of the upcoming retrograde as retro-shadow begins on the 12^th – six days after Mercury enters your 10^th. Agreements can be reached and contracts finalised under this full Moon. While an honest and open conversation hands you emotional insight into what someone is really thinking. Or your own communication style. It’s a beautiful full Moon for finding yourself on the same page.

With Mercury’s arrival in Pisces, you’ll be feeling more visible than usual. What you say, do or even how you act, is about to come under scrutiny as this is your house of public image and reputation. Expect this feeling to get dialled up once the Sun follows in here on the 19^th. With the upcoming retrograde, leverage your past track record. Take yourself more seriously. Because unless you do, nobody else will. Above all, be mindful of how you are coming across. Especially to anyone in a position of authority. Under no circumstances promise more than you can deliver. Needless to say, the usual retro rules apply. Mercury encounters the North Node in here on Feb 12. The day it enters pre-shadow. This is the first of three encounters Mercury will make to the North Node during its retro period. This may see the resurfacing of an old ambition, or you reflecting on what the path you have chosen has brought you to date. Or if you feel this was not chosen for you, see you come to the decision to self-direct your course going forward. Something ‘fated’ is at work now. Is an old theme repeating for you? If so, this is an opportunity to choose differently this time around.

Along with the Mercury slow-down, February hands us an eclipse. The new Moon in your 9^th (Feb 17), marks the start of the Chinese New Year of the Fire Horse. It triggers an Annular Solar Eclipse and also squares Uranus in your 12^th. This truly is an eclipse under which you need to stop and acknowledge that there’s something you don’t yet see or know. And wait for more insight to emerge. It’s the new direction that may not be. Or a false start. Uranus may blindside you with something you literally did not see coming. Or did not know. But the truth hidden within this eclipse no matter what appears, is that anything removed from your path was blocking your progress.

If you are thinking of changing direction, as far as your career goes, use this time to update your CV or research your strategy. Also if you are considering a total change of direction, look to how your present skills can be utilised in a new field. You may also find your best opportunities lie with established companies or organisations who have built up an enviable track record around innovation or how they support their people. Keep in mind ‘established’ does not necessary equate to boring or traditional.

I’ve saved the biggest and best till last for you, Gemini. Saturn’s return to Aries and your 11^th (14^th), will see your future direction shift in more than one area. This is the first time we have seen both Saturn and Neptune together in Aries in our lifetimes. And the first time the two planets meet at 0^o of this sign which happens on Feb 20. A powerful point of inception and new beginnings in the zodiac.

When it comes to your social ties and your goals, expect a ‘less is more’ reset around these. Quality over quantity. You don’t need a huge social circle. But what you will seek out are friends with whom you feel a soul connection and who ‘get’ you. The same goes for your goals.
