This is Ground Control, Scorpio. Has your soul been freed by Neptune in Pisces and your 5^th? Or are you drifting? Take it that you are still free to look at the stars very differently to preface Bowie. But this month brings you down to earth with a bump. Reminding you that you do need to attend to the practical aspects of reaching them. Take your protein pills, put your helmet on, do a pre-flight check, fasten your seatbelt for take-off. And tether yourself to the mothership before taking that space walk.

I’m bringing all this up ahead of the arrival of Ground Control planet Saturn into Aries and your 6^th house of work, wellbeing and practical matters (14^th). This is no time to neglect the small stuff. That minutiae, the details, the beautifully aligned, small but perfect working parts of the priceless timepiece which is your body and your daily life, need to be cared for, updated and given the focus and attention they need to function. Otherwise you’re not free and floating, you’re permanently grounded.

Just ahead of Saturn’s arrival, the full Moon in your 10^th already has you looking at that work/life balance as it trines Ceres in Aries (1^st). Is what you are doing working for you? You’ll experience a moment of clarity around this. If it is, expect the light of recognition to shine in your direction. A moment of visibility and validation. Bask in that glory, Scorpio. You’ve earned it. You will also be extremely aware of how the work you engage in impacts your wellbeing. And that any kind of success must support your wellbeing. Not be at the cost of it.

Uranus direct once more in Taurus and your house of partnerships, marks a significant turning point in a key relationship. Or your relationship status. Uranus is moving into its endgame in this sector of your chart. It will exit here in April. If a relationship has stalled, it may suddenly and surprisingly, restart. You experience a profound awakening around a relationship issue or your needs. Which have been evolving and changing throughout this transit. If something now needs to change around a relationship dynamic, resisting it will only cause frustration and/or friction. Again – how does that impact on your wellbeing? Better to get ahead of it.

With Mercury (6^th), Venus (8^th), and then the Sun (18^th), entering Pisces and your 5^th, pleasure and self-expression become a sacred pact you make with yourself. And a key component of that long term focus on self-care you are about to enter into. Depth and joyful self-expression can co-exist. In fact, these are intertwined with your destiny now.

We are entering Mercury retrograde season. It begins on the 12^th when Mercury first entangles with the North Node in here. Mercury will meet it twice more during its upcoming retrograde. Its full reversal begins on the 26^th. The usual retro rules apply. In your house of romance and also holidays, you may want to pause the swipe or booking that break in addition to the usual cautions. This will prove to be a fabulous time for recapturing lost loves however. These include those creative outlets, hobbies, pastimes, and engaging in those activities where you blissfully lose all track of time and cease to care about what others may think of you.

Fated moments will occur. Without you looking or even trying to make something happen. Take it if something is ‘meant to be’ – it will. You don’t need to force anything – and shouldn’t, under this cycle. Retrograde ‘re’ words apply and these do include reconciliation. But unless this now happens organically, it’s not meant to be so don’t go trying to make it happen.

Ground control is calling now. Asking you to look to that launchpad or even that starship. Saturn’s arrival in Aries is the start of a long term restructuring of what supports you around your work, health and daily routine. What underpins this or allows you to build it from the ground up is your home, residence, family life and living arrangements. Where you are grounded. Mission control.

The new Moon and Annular Solar Eclipse in Aquarius and your 4^th, squares Aquarius’ ruling planet Uranus in your 7^th (17^th). This also marks the start of the Chinese New Year of the Fire Horse. Eclipses always conceal. A total eclipse is a complete cover-up. An Annular eclipse like this one, creates that ‘Ring of Fire’ effect around the Sun. Something chimes within us – but we only have a glimpse of the bigger picture. With the retroshadow also in effect, try to avoid decisions around moving or property matters. As well as anything likely to have a long term impact on family matters or even your income or financial security.

What may emerge for you could be a change around family dynamics or your living arrangements. Or a desire to redefine what ‘home’ means to you. This eclipse will however break new ground for you when it comes to laying the foundations for something more lasting. Which fulfils your long term emotional needs.

All this is tied in to the environment you spend the most time in – often home in these days of hybrid working, what you do to support yourself, and the structure, routines and habits which give your life meaning. All these are now likely to be remade or undergo a major design overhaul as for the first time in our lifetimes, Saturn and Neptune meet in your 6^th on Feb 20. At the key 0^o of Aries – the point of inception and new beginnings in the zodiac. You won’t be going back to an old way of working or doing things. Heading forward, your emphasis is going to be on the ground control basics – ensuring the details which enhance your wellbeing are in place, before going forward.

This can usher in a new job, course of study or approach to fitness, wellness or healthy choices. Neptune adds the all-important insights. While Saturn hands you the step-by-step practical approach. Including those key steps before take-off. This is about working with your energy, not against it. And enhancing those everyday tasks with inspiration for practical, magical, life-affirming results.

Time to play, for pleasure, to devote yourself to something that may turn into your vocation, or simply to lean into what is true and heart-led for you, make doing this kind of work easy. You’ll factor this in and give it fresh priority when looking at changes to your routine. Life feels more free-flowing, richer and real when you simply follow that bliss.
